FAQ

YOU ASK WE ANSWER

What are Local Service Ads?

LSA is a Google program that allows local businesses to connect with potential customers looking for a service they provide.

How do Local Service Ads work?

When a user searches for a local service, Google generates a list of local businesses offering that service. Google will add a Google Guarantee or Google Screened badge to these businesses, inspiring trust from users who might still need to learn about those businesses. Google Local Service Ads appear at the top of the page, which gives you more exposure and increases your chances of converting.

Can my business run Local Service Ads?

Since the launch of LSA, Google has been adding new eligible industries. As of today, these are the eligible industries in the US.

How much budget should I allocate to LSA?

The minimum budget required varies depending on your business's industry and location. Google requires a budget that will allow you to get at least 12 leads per month. We have seen costs per lead range from $10 to $150.

What are the benefits of Local Service Ads?

You only pay for qualified leads instead of a click that might not complete a form/call/transaction. Potential customers trust businesses that have the Google Screened or Google Guarantee badge. Local Services Ads appear at the top of the Google Search Engine Results Page, above Sponsored Ads and Organic Results.

What counts as a qualified lead?

A call, message, or appointment that is made through a local service ad. A person trying to sell you a product/service or someone looking for a service you do not have in your profile can be disputed, and a credit will be applied to your account within 40 days.

Should I run LSA instead of Google Ads?

There's no one-size-fits-all solution since every business is different, even those in the same field and area. However, based on what we've seen with our clients, combining LSA and Google Search ads can be a powerful way to attract more leads.
